The Australian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC) is the peak professional body for infection prevention and control across Australasia. Scholarships are awarded each year to assist in reducing some of the out-of-pocket expenses associated with attending the conference.
This year scholarships will be offered in the following categories:
Applicants must be a current financial member of ACIPC and have been a member for at least twelve months.
Be residents of Australia or New Zealand.
Be currently employed in the area of infection prevention and control or working in a field closely employed in the area of infection prevention and control.
Attendance at the College conference must be relevant to the applicant’s current practice.
NOT be a member/office bearer of the ACIPC Board of Directors.
Applicants must be a resident of one of the following countries or territories within Australasia:
Cocos-Keeling Islands, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Soloman Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Wallis & Futuna, Western Samoa
Be a health professional working in the field of infection prevention and control.
Be able to understand and speak English fluently.
Within 3 months of attending the conference the participant is ready to submit a report of activities to ACIPC.
